ABOUT THE ARTIST
I derive inspiration from my collection of images from catalogs and magazines and other fun things I’ve saved. An image of a table and chairs becomes a holiday in wine country. The lift system in a window blind becomes a ladder or a bridge and the story leads the way from there.
ABOUT THE ART
I develop my narratives using acrylic paint, charcoal and images I've collected from catalogs and magazines. With a starting point, often from my collected images, I place my characters into the emerging scene and layer paint, charcoal and more images from my cache until the story is realized.
