ABOUT THE ARTIST
My emotions guide my work. I keep my palette simple on purpose. It gives me less to think about and more room to express myself. It frees me up to feel my way through each piece. The result is a mirror for me to better understand myself and how I interpret the world.
ABOUT THE ART
I use combinations of acrylic paint, conte crayons, pencils, pastels, charcoal, and coffee. I paint, make marks, scratch, sand, remove, pause, stamp, and spray. More and more layers emerge, and a story develops.
