ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am a mixed media artist with a background in biological sciences. I draw inspiration from both, natural and urban environments. I explore interesting light and composition in all sorts of subject matter like rural and city architecture, gardens, landscape, still life, interiors, domestic scenes.
ABOUT THE ART
I paint in acrylics and inks on newspaper and book page - covered canvas or board. To add heavy texture for abstract work, I make hand-woven surfaces mounted on canvas.
