ABOUT THE ARTIST
I used to be an oil painter who showed her work throughout galleries in the mid Atlantic region of the US. I transition to using free motion and hand embroidery on a variety of fabric because the medium was less toxic, yet more fragile that works better with what it is I am trying to convey .
ABOUT THE ART
I render my ink drawing with free motion embroidery on a variety of fabrics.I use hand embroidery to "paint" my images. I frame most of my pieces with vintage embroidery hoops to reference the materials being used.
