ABOUT THE ARTIST
Loved drawing as a child. Tyler School of Art. Design for 28 years. Agency shut down 5 years ago, started over. No formal training in painting. Our kids were moving out. Needed some art, that’s how I started painting. I paint the compositions upside down. Challenge myself to think ‘outside the box’.
ABOUT THE ART
Lively realistic still lifes invite the viewer into my world. Larger-than-life paintings are designed with a fresh perspective, highlighting the quirkiness in everyday pop culture. Focused on reflections, highlights, edges and colors, the compositions purposely break rules of conventionality.
