ABOUT THE ARTIST
I live on the Eastern Shore of Virginia where I am drawn to the salt marshes, and coves found along the coast. I mix most of my oil paint from dry pigment . All my work starts in Plein Air in watercolor. I then I do small oil studies, before moving to a large canvas. I take a journey in the process.
ABOUT THE ART
I like to push the boundaries of realism into abstraction, using a variety of color, hues and pigments. I mix my own oil paint from pigment, use oil stick and oil paint to enhance what color I see
