I am a professional artist and an art instructor with over 25 years of experience. I work primarily with oil paints on a wide variety of subjects: cityscapes and rural landscapes, still life and floral paintings, portraits and figurative work. I am a devoted practitioner of painting from life.

I am a devoted practitioner of painting from direct observation. I work primarily with oils. I strive to capture the very first moment when a subject makes its impression. I use a 26 -color palette and paint in one or multiple sessions, utilizing both, indirect and alla prima painting techniques.
