ABOUT THE ARTIST
Narratives embedded in wood, metal and other found objects serve as the spark for my inspiration. In some works I juxtapose disparate elements revealing connections between organic and industrial materials. In others, I allow objects to speak for themselves, giving new life to forgotten fragments.
ABOUT THE ART
The weathered and the worn are my vocabulary. I look for shapes and material that reflect the passage of time with texture and patina. I may choose to enhance these materials with color, polish, or position; manipulating and elevating the raw objects to reveal and enhance their hidden beauty.
