I viewed Winslow Homer’s watercolor paintings as a teenager in NYC and knew it: that’s what I’m going to do. Life had other plans, but I took workshops, painted when time allowed, and persevered for years. My work has been accepted in American Watercolor Society’s International Exhibitions and I

Watercolor is like a puppy: it wants to play! It's unpredictable, but you gotta go with the flow. Working with transparent colors allows me to mix rich dark tones to offset the light and airy washes.
