ABOUT THE ARTIST
Matt Gabel, an artist, painter and collagist has shown at numerous galleries, through juried exhibitions, and exhibits his work through fine art shows along the east coast where his vision is highly celebrated. Daily, he practices and works his discipline to the limits always growing as an artist.
ABOUT THE ART
My collage begins by painting a variety of mediums on paper/canvas. I cut, dismantle, and color categorize these for my color palette. I inlay the cut pieces to make one cohesive, puzzle-like image.
