ABOUT THE ARTIST
Becoming obsessed by glass in the middle of studying architecture, I left school to focus on building a glass studio. Two decades later I started casting glass designs in concrete which was a completely self-taught endeavor. The combination of glass and concrete has been my passion since.
ABOUT THE ART
Lightweight cast concrete wall sculpture with various textures, treatments and pigments including glass, found objects, encaustic, handmade paper, concrete stains and plant material. The work is cast in a handmade form. Texture and/or bas-relief are created in the form before the concrete is cast.
