ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am fascinated by the color palettes and textures found in wildflower meadows, rugged rock formations, even glaciers . I want my work to reflect nature's wonders in an abstract, tactile way achieved by heavy applications of gel & paste while blending dozens of colors to achieve depth and character.
ABOUT THE ART
A passion for travel and nature inspire these textural abstract compositions painted on gallery wrapped canvases. The works are created with heavy layers of gel and paste mediums as well as a wide spectrum of acrylic paints to include heavy body, liquid translucents and iridescents.
