ABOUT THE ART
Composed of countless layers of color built with oil, gel & cold wax, images are interpreted through color, pattern & line. Using a knife to scrape & carve quickly, before the paint dries, creating peaceful energy in each piece.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am inspired by the things that I encounter in everyday life and the places I experience while traveling to shows. Oil paint is layered thickly on canvas. The medium is stacked wet on wet, color upon color, to the surface of the canvas. I use palette knives and tools to carve and scrape away paint to reveal underlying the story.
