ABOUT THE ART
These oil or acrylic works are first drawn on canvas using drawings and watercolors done on location. I don't use photos for I like the abstraction that began in the original sketches. The figures, the shapes between them, & color relations are woven together to create the rhythm of the piece.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
I come from a family of artists. With acrylics drying quickly, the surface of the painting can be built upon easily layer upon layer. This way the image develops as I go. People in their environments and all the different light of all the various kinds of days inspires me most
