About the ART
Using angle grinders and rotary tools, I approach wood as my canvas, to create a language of patterns. These abstract relief carvings are a visceral, textured expression. My rhythmic use of the tools gives birth to organic geometries revealed in midwest hardwoods. Milk paint and oil finish.

About the ARTIST
Cycles and rhythms are the language of the nature, and this theme has inspired my current body or work. Many moments make up a day, many days a season and many seasons a lifetime. I have always been drawn to work with the trees, the lungs of the planet, sunlight trapped in wood. I find endless inspiration in the beauty of the natural world.
