Specializing in large format scrutiny of familiar objects with a tactile, sculptural aura. While nostalgic in subject, the result is a crisp clean canvas. At times the application of paint is broad and swift, with shifts to a more detailed and delicate approach. I strive for a palette induced calm.
Im inspired by ordinary objects taken
out of context, compressing the space. The play of light and the joy I get when I achieve a sense of peacefulness for viewers to rest their eyes on.
