ABOUT THE ARTIST

I am a sculptor who has been interested in how human history can be compiled through objects from the past. The spark that sets off the imagination once an object in a museum or ancient city shapes who we have been and may yet be again. The recurrence of tools and objects through the ages fascinates me for its integral part in our minds. It is as if these objects have been internalized like organs in our bodies through continual use. Objects originating from our minds and coming back and shaping those thoughts recursively through time.

ABOUT THE ART

My ideas are built sequentially from the last work I created. I move and transition through pieces like stories. I use form as a means to express an emotive and meditative state. A frozen emotion that moves through a story line. Referential to made-up archaeology from a fictional museum.
